The 4K Video Downloader allows you to quickly download videos from YouTube and Facebook as well as Vimeo, Dailymotion or Metacafe, among other video sharing websites.

Copy the URL to your video and then click the "Paste URL” button in 4K Video downloader. The program will prompt you to choose what file you want to download. Most likely, you will be able specify the format and quality of the video that you wish to download. You may also be able grab only the audio (so it'll become an MP3 file); there might be an option to save the subtitles. Finally, you can choose where you want to store the file and the name of the file.

This level of flexibility is great. However, if you find it too difficult to use, click on the Smart Mode button. Click "Enable Smart Mode", select the resolution, destination directory, and video format you prefer. 4K Video Downloader will then grab your videos as soon as possible after you click "Paste URL".

The details of the videos will be displayed in your program window as they are being downloaded. Double-clicking on these links will open the video in your default player. Right-clicking opens other options, such as the ability to pause or resume any current downloads or share a link via Twitter and Facebook.
