About ACDSee Gemstone Photo Editor 12 Beta For PC

For many years, ACDSee has been a respected and well-loved brand in photo editing and managing. Gemstone, a powerful photo editor, is now part of ACDSee's growing software line. It includes professional-level features like RAW support, layer-based editing, and more.

Gemstone currently is in beta testing, so it's difficult to assess its capabilities. It is a great piece of software and the company behind it claims that it needs feedback from photographers in order to improve it.

We're currently using the beta build. Even though it's only the first beta build of Gemstone, Gemstone feels well-built and polished. This is perhaps not surprising considering where Gemstone is from. You might dismiss Gemstone as "just another editor for images"; there are many to choose from, but it is much more.

Gemstone, a stylish app, is unmistakably elegant. But this is much more than a simple design. Photographers will appreciate the RAW support and impressive array of tools available. You can switch to ACDSee RAW when you're working with RAW files. This is the interface that allows you to edit RAW images using Tune and Detail tools.

Gemstone is one of the many image editors that allows multiple files to be open simultaneously. You can choose to work in either split view or child view depending on what you're doing.

It is almost minimalistic in its interface. Although it can be difficult at first to locate the options and tools you require, it becomes easy to get to grips with and you will soon become more familiar.

ACDSee Photo Studio users will recognize many familiar elements such as Light EQ and Frequency Separation. ACDSee plugins are supported, as well as those from Photoshop. This feature is fantastic for those who work with the two programs and allows Gemstone to expand its capabilities.

It is evident that Gemstone will be a success even in beta testing. It is encouraging that the beta testing is open to the public. This allows for improvements based on feedback from users.

Without knowing the price, it's difficult to evaluate this software. However, it seems to be a useful tool that you should keep an eye on.
