ACDSee, a professional and feature-rich graphics program, is designed to allow you to manage your digital images.
This program includes all of the same features as ACDSee's base edition.
You can browse folders and view images with management tools.
Smart viewers include an Auto EQ feature for optimal exposure and Magnifying Glass to magnify fine detail. Image metadata and histograms are also available.
A host of filters and over 50 effects are available in the core editor. These can be customized with a variety of selection tools and brushes.
You can save images as single files, slideshows or videos. They may also be uploaded to Flickr, SmugMug and Zenfolio.
ACDSee Ultimate adds an assortment of professional development tools to all these functions. Lens corrections include brightness, contrast, and color adjustments using tone bands. You also have the option to configure Vibrance tools, which can create HDR-like effects from one image.
The editing tools are now much more intuitive. The new features include skin tuning to enhance portraits, dehazing to remove murky images and more effects. Adobe Plugin support is also available, which opens up a world of image editing possibilities.
You have far greater control of what you do with the ability to modify specific colors or tones. You can go back to a previous point in your editing history if you make mistakes. Batch editing is a great option if you are confident in your abilities to edit multiple images at once.
Additional features include watermarking and selective removals of metadata. Multi-monitor support is also available.
This release brings significant improvements to ACDSee Ultimate's editing capabilities. The program also has many professional tools that make it even more useful.
