Ashampoo Photo Commander 11, a powerful graphics program, can be used to organize, improve, share, and enhance your images.
A thumbnail browser opens the program. The program opens with a thumbnail browser. You can browse your images by the date they were taken, the folders they are stored in. Filters let you view images by rating, date, type, IPTC/EXIF tag, and filename. You can also organize your images into custom albums if you don't like the idea of filters.
All the usual editing tools are available: crop, resize and rotate; blur and sharpen; brightness and contrast adjustments; colour, temperature and saturation sliders. There are many effects to choose from, including the useful (optimising colour contrast) and the artistic (excellent "Oil Painting").
There are many options available to you if you want to add annotations to a photograph. There are many options available to add text, lines and forms, callouts, and freehand lines. You also have access to a collection of clipart images.
Once your photos are uploaded, Ashampoo photo Commander 11 will help you create web albums, slideshows and greetings cards. You can also burn your pictures to DVD/CD or upload them to Facebook, Picasa, YouTube, etc.
Photo Commander 11 now has automatic backups. Photos are saved as you work. You can click to restore an older copy or go back to the original.
The new Effect Centre provides easy access to effect previews and real-time access. Many new effects are available, such as a Tilt Shift, Motion Blur and Zoom Blur. An Effect Pen allows you to draw any effect into an image for maximum control.
This new compatibility feature includes support for Adobe XMP metadata and more RAW files, as well as 3D (MPO/JPS) formats. You can view 3D images in animations on 2D displays. A new wizard allows you to convert 3D images into regular 2D.
There are also the normal small improvements to interfaces, performance optimizations, and other adjustments that you would expect from an upgrade.
