About SVG Cleaner 0.6.2 For PC

SVG Cleaner, an open-source tool that optimizes SVG files in order to decrease their size, is available.

The program can be accessed by pointing it at a folder tree and choosing an Output directory. Once the Output folder is selected, click "Start". SVG Cleaner locates SVG images and removes all attributes and unnecessary elements. It then exports the result.

There are many options for more control if you require it. The program can be pointed at particular SVG files. It is possible to choose which attributes and elements to be removed, as well as the path tweaks and optimisations that you want to apply. The cleaned files can also be saved in the exact same folder as their originals. You may even choose to overwrite them, if you so desire.

This process claims to reduce file size by between 10-60%. We downloaded 24 samples of SVG's and ran them through SVG Cleaner. Our original 2.75MB data dropped to 965KB, which is a remarkable 65% savings. Although this isn't a typical scenario (the source files were not optimised and the images we chose were large), it shows that there are individual savings up to 60%.

SVG Cleaner will display thumbnails of every file processed. This is to ensure that the compression does not affect the image. You can hover your cursor on a thumbnail to display the larger version if there are obvious differences.

Unfortunately, this is not enough to verify some images. The developer of SVG Cleaner points out that the internal viewer of SVG Cleaner doesn't show a lot of advanced SVG features, such as clipPath and mask filters. Also, you cannot check animations from its static thumbnails. To ensure that your compressed images look and work as expected, you will need to inspect each image after compression.

You could save a lot of money by using SVG Cleaner.

Smart and flexible optimisation tool that can reduce SVG file size without affecting image. That's at least the idea. This worked for us. However, you need to verify that each image is clean and functioning as expected.
