About The Image Collector 1.16 For PC

The image collector is a lightweight tool that allows you to download, view and categorise photos from various photo sharing websites.

Start the program to see all available sites. These sites include Picasa, Photo.Net, Picasa, PhotoBucket and 9Gag. Click on one of the above and Image Collector will instantly download an image collection. It'll display them as thumbnails.

However, we were hoping that this would allow us to perform keyword searches on each service. Unfortunately, it is not possible. An icon that appears in the toolbar of some sites provides basic filters. If you select "Photo.Net", you will see categories such as "Birds", “Children", and "Fashion", along with "Landscape", "Fashion", and "Pets" that may help you get closer to what you are looking for.

Left-clicking on a thumbnail to display the larger photo will open a new window. Right-clicking will allow you to save a larger version to the folder that interests you.

Image Collector makes use of multiple threads for downloading your images. This ensures that it performs well. It's also configurable. You can select how many threads you want to support and what function the right and left mouse buttons in the viewer will perform. The interface is still a bit odd. We are too used to double-clicking images to see them, so left-clicking doesn't feel intuitive. You can also not left-click multiple images at once.

The author offers a Premium Pack that allows adult content to be downloaded from 10 sites. You can learn more about this pack by clicking here.

Version 1.16 (),: View a new item and reset the viewer's state.
Tentative solution for a crash during startup.
After the exception dialog is shown, there's a tentative fix to a shutdown crash.

The Image Collector works quickly and allows you to view the most recent images on a variety of websites without having to open your browser. Its usefulness is limited by the lack of keyword search. The interface is not intuitive either.
